I got this because I’m a beginner in crochet. I tried the first pattern (considered easy) and it requires making a “magic circle”. Well, I had to look on YouTube to learn this because there is no visual on how to do this. That’s really the only issue I had with this book. All other instructions are really clear and there are patterns that make really cute items. There are great pictures of completed projects that make you want to dive right in.

For what it is, it’s pretty good. A beginner’s book, the illustrations are very useful in explaining the stitches. There are many basic stitches illustrated and then a few patterns at the end. I want to do one of them
